Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The place is stunning inside. I really love the interior and the overall vibe of the place. One thing I didn't like though was the volume of their music. We came here on valentines and i was expecting a very chill and romantic vibe, but the music was too loud for my liking. It ruined the romantic atmosphere of the place. You can't relax because you'd have to speak louder just so that you can converse with the people you're with. In terms of service, I was a bit disappointed because since it was Valentines Day, we were asked to order ahead so the cooks can prepare our orders beforehand and we did just that, but when we got there, we had to wait for probably more than 15mins for our dish to get served. Not to mention the order of our friends which was served almost an hour after we got there. Now for the food...if you're not used to fine dining, you'd definitely find the place expensive and not worth it because the serving size is quite small even though it's stated on the menu that the food is considered one of their "big plates", but if you're a foodie like me, I can definitely say that the taste of everything we ordered did not disappoint. Everything was full of flavor and well seasoned and I cannot begin to explain each and every flavor of the dishes that were served. Just take my word for it. The food is delicious. Just make sure to eat a lot someplace else before coming here to chill with friends. It's a great place to catch up with friends over drinks because their cocktails pack quite a punch, but I wouldn't say it's a good place to go get dinner and expect to be full. Overall, would definitely come back!"
"Great listening space with an extensive collection of vinyls, both vintage and new music. Went on a Monday evening and it had a lighthearted feel good energy, started empty and slowly filled up with diners— all the food ordered is delicious, flavourful, and super generous portions. Great quality ingredients, and I highly recommend the bone marrow ravioli, and the matcha tiramisu!"
"Booked an early birthday dinner for small group just nine months ago at their function room….Did not appreciate much of the food for we just came from snacking hours before…The Spicy Tuna was all too familiar….The three other ones in the pictures have flavor too. We downed all with a bottle of whisky….Yes, a bit pricey…. First hour on a Monday was a decent time to swoop in for easy parking…..Would be pumped for a second come by with friends….."
"My wife and I went here for a special date night. The food is absolutely amazing. It's only my 2nd time and it's been more than a year apart since my last visit but the quality of food and service stayed the same, if not, better! I will rate what we had from 1 - 10 as a personal metric for each item we had. (I couldn't get a lot of photos as we already started eating as the meals came in.) Appetizer: Kani Salad (8/10) It was a very fresh and appetizing salad indeed. There are flavors that are very pleasant to the palate. I won't spoil it. A must try! Maki: Misa Acevichado (9.5/10) VERY GOOD!!! I wanted to order a second plate but we were already too full! The candied chili gave it a nice touch! Main: Salmon (7.5/10) This is ok. What made it really good was the sauce and the enoki tempura! Grilled Shio Koji Chicken (9.5/10) My wife and I absolutely tore into this dish. This is a must try!!! Goes so well with rice also. Cocktails: Peko Chan (Sweet, milky) (8.5/10) Takashi Murakami (sour) (8/10) I mix cocktails as a hobby so I am quite critical especially with how I like my drinks done but these 2 were AMAZING. Looking forward to trying their entire cocktail menu on my next visit. Cheers to the bartender! Dessert: Japanese Milk Purin (10/10) You can't go wrong with this dessert. Not overly sweet but not bland either. The Oolong Tea Caramel is a decadent experience hence the full mark! Note that they change their menu annually. NOTE: I gave atmosphere 3 stars as some of their tables are positioned right next to their speakers making it hard for guests to have a conversation."
"Good food and good vibes. Food was so tasty and in portions that are enough for sharing. Assortment was quite eclectic, so you can have a bite from different cuisines. Place was quite spacious and with a great sound system, which definitely elevated the ambiance. Definitely leave room for drinks! Be a little daring and try your hand at drawing cards to design your own drink. Our group all enjoyed the combinations we got"
"In the vibrant heart of Davao City, MISA Dining & Listening Room crafts a dance of flavors and tunes. Gourmet plates burst with exquisite taste, while soulful melodies paint the evening with emotion, Creating a dining experience that lingers like a cherished refrain."
"Had our dinner date last night. Didn't expect to have a place like this so close! The service is top notch and the drinks will never disappoint. Their Japanese "fusion" cuisine has a lot to offer and the ambiance is romantic with the jukebox you can actually operate. Overall, our experience is wonderful and will surely comeback for the drinks!"
"visited Misa to attend their exclusive TTPD listening session. i loved the place the moment i stepped inside. we were greeted and they've assisted us to our seats. the servers are so attentive also. the food was good and had big portions, good for sharing if you're a light eater. cocktails & mocktails were good as well. my friend really liked the menu! also, the a/c wasn't too cold which i appreciate. overall, a good night!"
